The Paper Girls Show’s Junior Scientist Maker Program

The Center for Inquiry Based Learning partnered with Global Tinkers to create The Paper Girls Show’s Junior Scientist Maker Program. This is a unique 5-part program that harnesses the powers of easily accessible content to introduce elementary students to the scientific method.

In each part, students watch a short and directly relevant episode of the multi-award winning ‘The Paper Girls Show’ animated series and participate in hands-on, inquiry-based science activities. At the end of the program, participants are inspired to use their recently gained knowledge to embark in real-world scientific activities by using the Marine Debris Tracker application to track pollutants in their own communities.
